Floxin is used to treat bacterial infections of the skin, lungs, prostate, or urinary tract (bladder and kidneys). Floxin is also used to treat pelvic inflammatory disease and chlamydia and/or gonorrhea.
Is consumption of Floxin safe?
Floxin antibiotics can cause serious or disabling side effects that may not be reversible. Floxin should be used only for infections that cannot be treated with a safer antibiotic.
How to consume Floxin?
Floxin is usually taken every 12 hours. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
What should be avoided while taking Floxin?
Floxin can make sunburn easily. Avoid sunlight or tanning beds. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) when you are outdoors.
