What is to be take care of befor consuming Placil?
This medicine is to be avoided in case of being allergic to clomipramine or to similar antidepressants (amitriptyline, amoxapine, desipramine, doxepin, imipramine, nortriptyline, protriptyline, or trimipramine).
How to consume Placil?
Take clomipramine with food to reduce stomach upset. It may take up to 4 weeks before the symptoms to improve. Keep using the medication as directed and inform the doctor in case symptoms do not improve after 4 weeks of treatment.
What is to be avoided while taking Placil?
Avoid drinking alcohol. Dangerous side effects might take place. The medicine might impair thinking or reactions. Be careful in case of driving or performing anything that might need alertness.
