What is Lumox?
Lumox is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. They work by killing the bacteria or preventing their growth.
Why is Lumox prescribed?
For use Lumox as monotherapy and in combination with clavulanic acid: an infectious-inflammatory diseases caused by susceptible microorganisms, including bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, infections of the gastrointestinal tract, gynecological infections, infections of the skin and soft tissue, listeria, leptospirosis, gonorrhea.
How to consume Lumox?
Take Lumox suspension by mouth with or without food. If stomach upset occurs, take with food to reduce stomach irritation. To clear up your infection completely, take Lumox suspension for the full course of treatment. Keep taking it even if you feel better in a few days.
What if a dosage of Lumox is missed?
If you miss a dose of Lumox suspension, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
What are Lumox drug's interactions?
Lumox may decrease the effectiveness of contraceptives for oral administration. Lumox increases the effects of indirect anticoagulants inhibiting intestinal microflora, reduces the synthesis of vitamin K and prothrombin index.
