What Angitil Capsules is and what it is used for?
Angitil Capsules contain diltiazem hydrochloride belonging to a group of medicines called calcium-channel blockers that act on the cardiovascular system (the heart and blood vessels). Angitil Capsules has been prescribed by your doctor to treat your high blood pressure or to reduce the frequency of your anginal attacks
What to know before taking Angitil Capsules?
Know if allergic (hypersensitive) to diltiazem hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients in Angitil Capsules (listed in Section 6 below) or to other calcium-channel blockers (e.g. amlodipine, nisoldipine or nifedipine)
What are the effects of Angitil on Heart?
Calcium-channel blockers slow down the amount of calcium that can get into heart muscle cells and so reduce how fast and strongly it can contract.
What type of calcium-channel blocker Angitil is?
Ddihydropyridine calcium-channel blockers that make arteries become wider. It is also used for treating Raynaud’s phenomenon, angina and high blood pressure.
How should Angitil be consumed?
Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label.
