What Cystrin is used for?
Cystrin is used in adults and children 5 years or older to treat: Loss of control in passing water (urinary incontinence); Increased need or urgency to pass water (urine); and Night time bedwetting, when other treatments have not worked.
How Cystrin works?
Cystrin works by relaxing the muscles of the bladder and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). This helps control the release of water (urine).
How is Cystrin given?
Cystrin is taken orally as tablets, the dose and number of times a day you take the tablets will be decided by your doctor. It can take a few weeks before the full benefits are seen.
How to consume Cystrin medicine?
Oxybutynin may be taken with or without food. Tablets or capsules must be swallowed whole. Do not crush, chew or cut the tablet or capsule.
How to store Cystrin?
Store Cystrin medicine in a cool, dry place, away from the reach of direct heat and sunlight. Remember to check the expiry date on the pack.
